Today I am going on a quick walk down memory lane to when Rolo the Dachshund puppy made his entrance. It’s been 3 years since then and my gosh, how they have flown. Right, let’s get in the DeLorean and skiddaddle back about 36 months or so, which really is just a blink of an eye isn’t it š Besides, where we’re going we don’t need roads…
Heās a dachshund called Rolo and I met him for the first time last night. Heās actually a new puppy; they called him Rolo because he was the last puppy in the litter remaining. Isnāt he cute!
Iām writing this just to share a couple of photos of him with you. Heās still only 13 weeks old and heāll lick your face off, given half an opportunity. Itās not often you get to write that is it.
It seems my family has gone Dachshund crazy over the last year and Iām not quite sure why that is, but they are growing on me all the same.
Here are another two:
Thatās Roux. Heās the regal, quiet one.
Thatās Rex. Heās the loud, boisterous and quite the character if ever there was one. Out of the three, heās currently āthe donā.
You may have noticed that they all begin with āRā.
Someone said, āI love that they all begin with R donāt they. Roux, Rex and Roloā. When I asked the dogs what they thought of their names, they didnāt say a lot. Maybe thereās a reason theyāre remaining tight lipped.
My guess is theyāre not that fussy about their name apart from when itās time for food.
Like all good dogs, Rolo loves bones:
He also rocks a new outfit:
And he also loves his toy doughnuts. What puppy doesnāt eh:
Heās prepared for walks, whatever the weather. Only the other day he went out and bought a rain mac; heās always surprising us:
Iāve got to wrap this story up now, because Rolo is getting tired, but he says āHiā and hopes youāre doing well.
He actually said, āWooffffā⦠but Iām not sure that would make for the most interesting blog post, so forgive my artistic license on this occasion.
Itās goodnight from me and itās goodnight from him š¶.
Goodnight.
3 years has gone by since those pictures were taken. I have so many photos since then so there is more to come, but not today.
Thanks for reading. See you in the next one.
Let’s play this one out with “Who Let The Dogs Out” by the Baha Men…
